Shipping costs

Private customers

Books:

The delivery of books to private customers is free of charge within Germany.

Up to 1000g dispatch is via „Maxibrief“, larger orders are sent via DPD parcel.

Pet Accessories:

- When ordering pet accessories, the order amount of 29 € or more within Germany is free of shipping costs.
- This also applies to a combination of pet accessories and books/magazines.
- For an order under 29 € we charge a shipping fee of 7,90 €.

Frozen Food:

Important information when shipping frozen food:

- Free shipping for orders over 69 €.
- If your order is less than 69 € we charge a shipping fee of 12,00 €.
- Frozen food cannot be combined with other products.
- Shipping only within Germany.
- No shipping to packing stations.
- Island surcharge can be requested in advance.
- Frozen food is shipped exclusively from Tuesdays-Thursday by DPD Express with guaranteed delivery by 6 p.m. on the following day.
- Shipment usually takes place 1 day after receipt of order, so the guaranteed delivery is 2 working days after receipt of order. Orders between Thursday-Monday are always shipped on Tuesdays.
- The purchase price includes costs for polystyrene box as well as dry ice (no deposit).
- Please note that the acceptance of the delivery to the indicated delivery address must be guaranteed so that the cold chain is not interrupted. If the recipient is not present, the goods will be disposed of and must be paid for by the customer.

Live Food:

Important information when shipping live food:

- Free shipping for orders over 69 €.
- For orders of less than 69 € we charge a shipping fee of 12,00 €.
- Live food cannot be combined with other products.
- Shipping only within Germany.
- No shipping to packing stations.
- Island surcharge can be inquired in advance.
- Orders received by Thursday evening at the latest will generally be delivered on Wednesday of the following week.
- Please note that the delivery must be accepted at the specified delivery address so that the cold chain is not interrupted. If the recipient is not present, the goods will be disposed of and must be paid for by the customer.

Business customers

For business clients (B2B) the following shipping costs apply within Germany:

up to 1 kg            = 2,90 €

up to 5 kg            = 5,80 €

up to 30 kg         = 6,95 €

up to 60 kg         = 13,90 €

up to 90 kg         = 19,90 €

up to 1 kg            = 6,90 €
